PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE

The way you prepare, and how you care for your brows after, plays a major role in your final result. Preparation creates the foundation. Aftercare protects the outcome.

Follow both closely to ensure the best possible results and longevity from your treatment.

Brow Lamination, wax sculpt and hybrid brow dye by Blush & Brow Beauty
Preparing for Your Brow Lamination
  • Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Pause active skincare (retinol, AHA/BHA)

  • Light physical exfoliation 2 days prior can improve results

  • Arrive with no makeup on or around the brows

Caring for Your Brow Lamination

First 24 hours:

  • Keep brows dry

  • Avoid touching or manipulating the hairs

  • Avoid makeup

This allows the treatment to fully set.

After 24 hours:

  • Brush brows into place after wetting

  • Style daily as desired

After 3–4 days:

  • Begin using your aftercare product daily to maintain hydration

Important:

Brow lamination is low-maintenance, not no-maintenance.

Environmental factors, heat, and daily habits can impact longevity and hair condition.

Proper aftercare is essential to maintain results and prevent dryness or breakage.

Hybrid Brow Dye

Preparing for Your Brow Dye
  • Pause active skincare (retinol, AHA/BHA)

  • Light exfoliation 1–2 days prior improves stain retention

  • Hydrate the skin well before your appointment

  • Avoid fake tan on the face

  • Arrive with no makeup on or around the brows

Caring for Your Brow Dye

First 24 hours:

  • Avoid water and moisture on the brows

To extend your results:

  • Minimise exposure to water, oils, and skincare

  • Avoid excessive rubbing or cleansing over the area

Important:

Hybrid dye is a temporary result.

  • Skin naturally sheds

  • Oilier skin types may fade faster

  • Results vary from person to person

When it comes to the skin stain, think of it as similar to how fake tan fades over time.
